Teaching
Pinja has worked as aerial acrobatics teacher since 2003.
Pushing her own skills forward has always been a part of Pinja's work as an artist. Pinja is virtuoso-like skilled aerial acrobat and as a creative artist she dares to share her knowledge to others without fear for competition, putting her everything into it. This creative, new-seeking and developing way of work makes Pinja a skilled teacher as well. When she's teaching she doesn't copy, but instead develops new forms and movements based on every student's premises. The result is always unique.
Pinja's youngest students have been only 9 years old. She has taught both circus amateurs and students on her courses and workshops in Finland, and in Norway at Ny Cirkus Bjerke, Sweden through Cirkus Cirkör and in Spain through Madrid-based circus school Carampa. In addition she has given private lessons to estrade performers. In theatre Pinja has helped dancers in aerial acrobatics.
